Jamie Kueber purchased Bruhn Optical in December of 2016. She graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry and is a Bemidji State University Alumnus. Dr. Kueber grew up in Park Rapids and graduated from the Park Rapids High School.Some of her previous recognitions include the COVD Award for Excellence in Vision Therapy from Indiana University and the Biology Student of the Year Award from Bemidji State University. Jamie has also done research on retinal imaging of individuals with diabetes and macular degeneration at Indiana University. She was also her class liaison for the Contact Lens and Cornea Section of the American Optometric Student Association.Dr. Kueber is married to Thomas Kueber and has six children. She enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her kids.
Dr. Tesch received her doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1987. She provides comprehensive exams including the diagnosis and treatment (or comanagment) of all eye diseases. Dr. Tesch specializes in vision therapy; she received post graduate training through the Baltimore Academy for Behavioral Optometrists and Developmental Vision Therapy. Her vision therapy program is designed to maximize efficiency of the visual system, helping the individual's reach their full potential at school, work, sports, and recreational activities. She has also volunteered with VOSH and has traveled to Honduras, Jamaica, and Guatemala. Dr. Tesch has practiced in the Northern Minnesota region since 1998. She lives in Bemidji with her husband Jeff and has two children who are college students. In her free time she is loves to golf, garden, recreate on the water, and travel.
